Technical Specification – Bambahús (Single Unit)

Each Bambahús is a 6.6 m² modular greenhouse, designed to maximise space efficiency, durability, and usability in challenging Nordic conditions. Despite its compact footprint, the interior is bright, stable, and spacious.

The unit measures 3.3 metres in width, 2 metres in length, and 2.2 metres in height, making it suitable for cultivation as well as a wide range of multi-purpose uses.

Construction and Materials

The load-bearing structure is made from galvanised steel, providing high strength, stability, and a long service life — even in demanding weather conditions.

The structure is clad with 10 mm insulated polycarbonate greenhouse panels, fastened with galvanised screws. This construction ensures:

good thermal insulation
maximum light transmission for cultivation

Interior Layout

The interior consists of four planting beds, each measuring 100 × 120 cm with a depth of 30 cm.

The 90 cm wide central walkway provides excellent access, safe movement, and a comfortable working environment.

The planting beds are positioned 90 cm above floor level, offering ergonomic working height for everyday use. The height can be adjusted to suit specific needs, such as use by children, wheelchair users, or specialised growing methods.

Installation and Flexibility

Bambahús units are delivered fully assembled and require no ground anchoring — a level surface is sufficient.

The units are portable and can be relocated without being taken out of use.

The modular design allows users to:

connect two or more units
reconfigure the interior layout
remove planting beds to create an open workspace
